Bus Éireann wishes to advise customers that the National Transport Authority has approved fare adjustments on cash, prepaid and Leap tickets for City, Commuter and Stage Carriage services from 1 December 2016. Fare changes within a range of -9.4% to +7.4% will apply.

European Car Free Day Galway
Forsters St., Williamsgate St. and Eglington St. will be closed to all traffic with the exception of buses, taxis, hackneys and bicycles from 10:00 to 16:00 on Thursday 22/09/16 to celebrate European Car Free Day. Traffic diversions will be in place in the city centre but all bus routes will operate as normal.

Galway Bay Marathon
The Galway Bay 10K, Half Marathon and Full Marathon take place in Galway city on Saturday 01/10/16. Routes 401 and 424 will divert from Lower Salthill to Devon Park, Dr. Mannix Road and Threadneedle Road from 08:30 to 14:30 due to road closures. Salthill Village and Dalysfort Road will be without service outbound during these times as a result. Inbound service on these routes will operate as normal.
